Psalms and Songs and a Bible

I found a cool feature on Biblegateway.com. If you search for a specific verse, when the verse pops up there is an option right below the verse to see it in all English versions. For me this works on my laptop but not on my phone.

Using this feature, I found my favorite versions of Psalm 143:8:

Let me hear Your lovingkindness in the morning, For I trust in You. Teach me the way in which I should walk, For I lift up my soul to You. (Amplified)
Tell me all about your faithful love come morning time, because I trust you. Show me the way I should go, because I offer my life up to you. (CEB)
Each morning let me learn more about your love because I trust you. I come to you in prayer, asking for your guidance. (CEV)
Let me hear in the morning of your steadfast love, for in you I trust. Make me know the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul. (ESV)
Let me experience Your faithful love in the morning, for I trust in You. Reveal to me the way I should go because I long for You. (HCSB)
Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee. (KJV)
Let me hear Your lovingkindness in the morning; For I trust in You; Teach me the way in which I should walk; For to You I lift up my soul. (NASB)
Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life. (NIV)
Let me hear of your unfailing love each morning, for I am trusting you. Show me where to walk, for I give myself to you. (NLT)

Next week we will start seeking verses to treasure. One way to do this is to write in the margins of your Bible. You might draw simple pictures, write a prayer or just write a key word in large letters. My friend Julie is giving away a journaling Bible on her blog. It has large margins that would be great for this! Check it out here.

Keith and Kristyn Getty have two free downloads right now, one for Thanksgiving and one for Christmas.

Thanksgiving:  My Heart is Filled with Thankfulness

Christmas:  In the Bleak Midwinter
